Kawasaki’s 2027 motorcycle line-up has been included in the company’s brand-new warranty scheme, which covers all road bikes.
The new warranty is there to cover all potential manufacturing defects that occur after the time of purchase.
The six-year scheme also replaces the previous four-year manufacturer’s warranty that was offered by Team Green.
This means riders are covered by an additional 50 per cent compared to the previous version, which applies to all 2027 models and new machines already in Kawasaki’s European dealer network, as long as they have not yet been warranty registered.
The six-year warranty has already begun across selected dealerships, with the roll out set to continue at other European dealers between now and the start of 2027.
While a step forward in providing more customer satisfaction, Kawasaki’s new scheme still remains some way off Suzuki’s industry-leading 10-year warranty.
Discussing the new six-year warranty roll out, Managing Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe, Shigemi Tanaka, said:
“Our customer service records show that the vast majority of owners will likely never have to rely on their Kawasaki warranty. However, should they need help or assistance, it’s reassuring for them to know it’s not just the day, week, month or year after purchase that they can make a warranty enquiry, but for six whole years.
“This updated scheme perfectly illustrates our confidence in the quality and durability of the products our official European dealers sell.”
It will cover models like the brand-new Versys 900, as well as renewed bikes such as the Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja 650, Ninja ZX-6R, Z1100, Z900 and many more.
