A new classic car research platformhas launched with more than 500 reviews and buying guides, 2,250 free market valuations and a database of 22,500 auction results.
Classic Car Reviews was created by automotive journalist and historian Keith Adams to help buyers, sellers, owners and specialist dealers research vehicles and assess asking prices.
The website combines editorial reviews with auction intelligence, advertised prices, owner feedback and market values.
Its coverage includes traditional classics, modern classics and vehicles it considers likely to become collectable in future.
Free classic car market data
The platform’s Market Tracker brings together auction results, comparable vehicles, market trends and valuations for each model.
Users can also compare vehicles side by side, submit ownership reviews and ask Adams questions about buying, selling, importing and valuing classic cars.
The market values and research tools are free to access, with valuations reviewed using auction results, dealer and private asking prices, specialist knowledge and owner feedback.
Adams said: “If you’re selling a car, you want to understand why it’s worth what it is, and if you’re buying, you want to know whether the asking price makes sense. Every car we cover plugs into the Market Tracker, so the review, valuation and market evidence are part of the same research journey.”
For specialist dealers, the platform could provide anotherces or discussing valuations with customers
Sector supports 34,500 jobs
The launch comes as the UK historic vehicle sector contributes an estimated £7.3 billion annually to the economy.
The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs’ 2025 survey identified 1.93 million registered historic vehicles and around 2,700 specialist businesses supporting 34,500 jobs.
Adams said: “There is an amazing amount of knowledge in the classic-car world, and the site is about bringing as much of that expertise as possible together in one place and making it simple to use. Whether you’re deciding which classic to buy, researching one or simply wondering what you might buy next, I want CCR to be the trusted guide that takes away the anxiety of classic cars for people of all ages and experience.”
Adams has worked in automotive editorial for more than two decades, including roles with Kelsey Media, Dennis Publishing, Honest John and Bauer Media.
He also established AROnline in 2001, covering Austin Rover, British Leyland, BMC and associated marques.
