Exactly a year ago, Lisbon, Portugal-based custom shop Holey Moly appeared on our radar thanks to some gorgeous, classy retro fairing kits for the Yamaha Tenere 700. And now, they’re back with the next chapter in their T7 customization story; This time, with even more time-travel!
While the 2025 kits went back to the 1980s and 90s, the 2026 kits are going back to the 1970s for their design inspiration. Holy Moly is calling the kit the very innocuous name of “Retro 2.0” and it’s available in six colors: white/red, black/red, white/blue, black/blue, white/green, and black/green.

No matter which color you choose, these kits are made to fit all regular T7s from 2019 to 2024 T7s, but not the World Red or World Rally versions. They won’t even fit into the decade of 2025, so if you’re casting longing glances at your computer screen and doing random hypothetical math in your head to see if your bank account is up to the challenge this time, keep this in mind.
All kits include an E-approved LED headlight, a headlight plug made to go directly into the stock wiring loom, LED turn signals with adapter and mount, front fender, half lower fender, 3D-printed display holder to fit your LCD or TFT dash (you must specify what you want in your order), a complete set of plastic with pre-applied decals (custom decals upon request available), an aluminum radiator guard and a flexible tail. Keep your rear turn signal, wiring adapter, license plate holder/light/adapter neat and clean.

Holey Moly lists currencies and shipping options throughout Europe, the US, and Canada, and warns that each of its kits can take up to four weeks to be made as a custom item before shipment. US pricing for the kit starts at $1,778, which seems pretty reasonable for such a plug-and-play experience. At the time of writing, the OG Retro kit is listed as out of stock on the Holey Moly website, but the Baja kits are still available.
