J2R launches a new prototype, created with design studio Antrasite - thepack.news

Newsflash! French e-moto maker J2R, already known among readers of The Pack for its city-focused Smol, has a new prototype on the road, developed in collaboration with French design and engineering studio Antrasite.

The bike relies heavily on sheet metal, a choice that lets the aesthetic and structural body share the same parts, reducing tooling costs as the project moves toward series production. The riding position takes cues from Motocross: playful, agile, and built to feel at home weaving through city traffic rather than on open trails. With a bold, unapologetic style, it’s a clear early statement of what this next J2R model wants to be.

There’s still a lot of engineering work left before the prototype becomes a production-ready machine, but this is the first real step on that path. anthracite We thank J2R for the trust placed in the collaboration – and The Pack will be keeping an eye on where the project goes next.
