Meanwhile, the ADV125 brings the styling and practicality of Honda’s adventure scooter family into a new displacement category.

The CRF1150L Africa Twin family receives a comprehensive

The CRF1150L Africa Twin family receives a comprehensive overhaul for 2027 and is now built around three distinct models: the Africa Twin, Africa Twin Adventure Sports and Africa Twin Enduro Sports. The most significant mechanical change concerns the 1,131 cc parallel-twin engine, which has undergone extensive revisions and now delivers 16% more peak power and almost 7% more torque.

Honda has also worked to improve everyday usability and long-distance convenience. The new generation gains wireless smartphone connectivity, the SMART Key system and a 7-inch touchscreen display, adding a more advanced technology package while retaining the Africa Twin’s focus on touring and off-road riding.

The Adventure Sports version takes centre stage with the introduction of Honda SENSING RIDE. This radar-assisted package brings together rider-assistance technologies designed to enhance safety and provide support in different riding situations. It marks a new approach to electronic assistance within one of Honda’s most important adventure motorcycle families.

At the more off-road-focused end of the range,

At the more off-road-focused end of the range, the new CRF1150L Africa Twin Enduro Sports is designed to take the family’s trail capabilities further. Honda promises an unprecedented level of off-road ability and performance, although the specific technical details of this version have not yet been provided in the EICMA announcement.

Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade strengthens its HRC connection

The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade family also receives a significant update for 2027. Honda describes it as the most advanced Fireblade range yet, developed through closer cooperation with Honda Racing Corporation than ever before.

The changes cover both the engine and chassis. The powerplant has been extensively revised to deliver a stronger response through the mid-range, while chassis development has focused on improving stability when entering corners and providing greater front-end feel. The aim is to make the Fireblade more confidence-inspiring when ridden at a sporting pace.

This new model further strengthens the connection between the road-going Fireblade and HRC’s racing experience. Honda has yet to disclose every detail of the Works Edition, but its arrival confirms the manufacturer’s intention to offer a version positioned even closer to the demands of circuit riding.

V3R 900 E-Compressor moves closer to series production

The V3R 900 E-Compressor is one of the most unusual projects in Honda’s EICMA line-up. Following the initial presentation of its engine concept and technology, the manufacturer is bringing a production-intent version to EICMA 2026, showcasing the final design lines and an updated Honda RoadSync system.

The project follows Honda’s long tradition of innovation,

The project follows Honda’s long tradition of innovation, represented by landmark models such as the original CB750, Gold Wing, RC30, NR, Fireblade and Africa Twin. At its heart is a 900 cc V3 engine featuring a unique electronically controlled compressor.

According to Honda, this technology allows the engine to deliver performance comparable to that of a 1,200 cc powerplant while using a smaller displacement. Electronic compressor management is central to the concept and sets it apart from conventional forced-induction systems.

Development is progressing at a rapid pace, but Honda has not yet confirmed a timetable for the start of series production. The EICMA display therefore provides the first look at the design expected to reach the production model, while the launch date remains unknown.

Honda ADV125 brings adventure styling to the 125 cc scooter class

The new ADV125 expands Honda’s adventure scooter family,

The new ADV125 expands Honda’s adventure scooter family, drawing inspiration from the ADV350 and X-ADV. The aim is to bring the rugged SUV-inspired styling and practical features of these larger models into a smaller displacement category, with a scooter designed for everyday commuting without giving up its adventure-oriented appearance.

A high riding position, long-travel suspension and generous ground clearance are among the defining features of the ADV125. This configuration is intended to provide a relaxed riding posture and greater ability to cope with uneven surfaces than a conventional urban scooter.

Technology is another important part of the package. The ADV125 features a 5-inch colour TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, USB-C charging, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and the SMART Key system. This equipment brings the new 125 closer to its larger siblings and strengthens its position within Honda’s scooter line-up.

This new middleweight sportbike draws on Honda’s heritage in four-cylinder engines and combines that background with a broad range of modern technologies. Full technical specifications have not yet been released, leaving details of its engine, performance and equipment to be confirmed.

The CMX500 Rebel will also be on display, now featuring Honda E-Clutch technology. This system electronically manages clutch operation, aiming to simplify starting, stopping and gear changes. Visitors will also be able to see the CBR600RR, which is included in Honda’s exhibition line-up.
