Haverfordwest County AFC is inviting supporters to ‘Bring a Bro’ along to next Friday’s Novira Cymru Premier fixture with Cardiff Met at the Bridge Meadow Stadium, with a free ticket being offered as part of our support for Movember and the importance of men’s mental health.
The initiative aims to bring more people together at the Bridge Meadow Stadium, using the power of football to encourage connection, conversation and support within the local community.
For this fixture, supporters will have the opportunity to bring a friend along free of charge, giving more people the chance to experience a matchday with the Bluebirds while helping to raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health.
Movember is a leading charity dedicated to changing
Movember is a leading charity dedicated to changing the face of men’s health, with a particular focus on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Its work highlights the importance of checking in with friends, starting conversations and ensuring that men feel supported when they need it most.
Since being founded in 2003, Movember has raised over £400 million for men’s health issues, with a large portion of funds being invested in research.
This year’s theme is ‘Make a Growmitment’. Whether that is fundraising, donating or raising awareness, there are so many ways you can help to support Movember.

Whether it is catching up before kick-off, sharing the excitement of the action on the pitch or enjoying the matchday atmosphere together, the club hopes the initiative will encourage supporters to make time for one another and continue conversations beyond the final whistle.
The offer forms part of Haverfordwest County AFC’s commitment to supporting its community and using football as a platform to promote positive messages around health and wellbeing.
