- The new Lamborghini Revuelto should be launched later this year.
- It will feature aerodynamic upgrades designed for the track.
- The engine should also get a slight upgrade.
The Lamborghini Revuelto has been around for two years. Sure, that’s not exactly an eternity, but it’s enough time for us to start thinking about what’s next for Sant’Agata Bolognese’s flagship V12 supercar. And there are some rumors also.
According to a report by supercar blogLamborghini will launch its more powerful Revuelto SV later this year. A private show will reportedly be held this month, after which the supercar will make its public debut in 2026. If we had to guess, it would probably show up at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.
Like previous SV models, the Revuelto SV is also expected to get some modifications to make it even more capable on track. This will include things like a fixed rear spoiler, a high-downforce package with updated bumpers and diffuser, and perhaps a lightly retuned suspension.
The Revuelto’s 6.5-liter hybrid V12 setup already makes 1,001 horsepower, so don’t expect a huge increase in power. That said, mechanical upgrades should still be on the table in an effort to make the SV model even better than the current model.
We’ve already seen a prototype of the alleged Revuelto SV driving around Italy. Those prototypes preview details like the aforementioned rear wing and upgraded bumper and diffuser treatments.
Keep your eyes open for the end of this year.
Motor1’s Opinion: It makes sense that Lamborghini is already working on a hot version of the Revuelto. It took several years since the Aventador’s debut for an SV version of that car to appear, so the Revuelto is on the right track.
