Zero Motorcycles launches summer discount on LS1 in Belgium and Netherlands – thepack.news

Zero Motorcycles is offering a summer discount on the LS1 electric scooter, which is valid from now till September 30, 2026. This promotion applies in both Belgium and the Netherlands, with electric urban scooters being positioned as an alternative to cars, trams or trains, especially during high summer periods.

Price determination

In the Netherlands, the LS1 price is now down from €5,475 to €5,116 (including €206 BPM). In Belgium, the price has dropped from €5,275 to €4,910. Both prices include VAT, dealer delivery and battery recycling costs. The discount amounts to €359 in the Netherlands and €365 in Belgium.

Specifications

The power output of LS1 is 11 kW, It is categorized as equivalent to 125cc combustion-engine motorcycles.. This is the same power class that is included in The Pack’s first explainer on continuous versus peak power limits under UN/ECE Regulation No. 85, which regulates how 11kW electric motorcycles are licensed throughout Europe.

In mixed urban and rural riding, the range is rated at up to 110 km per charge, while the top speed is around 100 km/h. A full charge costs around €1.40. The battery is removable, allowing charging even without dedicated home charging infrastructure.

Licensing requirements differ between the two markets: in the Netherlands an A1 motorcycle license is required, while in Belgium a standard car driving license is sufficient on these conditions:

  • B licensed before 1 May 2011 → Allowed to run A1 category bikes (125cc/11kW) automatically, marked as code 372 On license.
  • B licensed From 1 May 2011 onwards → want one 4 hour practical course In driving school to get code 372 (no exam).
  • B licensed before 1 January 1989 → Full A license rights, any power, and this one does Travel – This is considered a genuine A-class entitlement.
  • territorial limit: Code 372 (both automatic and 4-hour version) is valid only in belgium. A genuine A1 is required for travel abroad.
