Travis Scott rocks unreleased Nike sneakers at 'Odyssey' premiere

Travis Scott plays a bard in Christopher Nolan’s film odyssey. And last night at the New York premiere of the highly anticipated blockbuster, the Houston-born rapper was spotted in a pair of Nike sneakers we’ve never actually seen before. So, naturally, we’re zooming in.

Earlier this spring, Nike brought back its famous Moon Shoe after Jacquemus dug the silhouette out of the archives in 2025. And while the Swoosh re-releases old sneakers all the time, this one was a little different. After all, the OG Moon Shoe represents the birth of Nike as we know it. Co-founder Bill Bowerman famously experimented with rubber in waffle irons to create a new kind of grippy sole—and only 12 pairs of the initial model were handmade for the runners at the 1972 U.S. Olympic Trials.

More than 50 years later, Jacquemus continues to exert his influence on the silhouette. The French label made it thinner, softer and a little more fashion-y. People went crazy about it. Bradley Cooper Bought a pair, and it even managed to drag Rihanna away from Team Puma. And by the looks of things, Scott may get the next version of his own.

Their Mystery Pair of Moon Shoes Claims to Be Super Low-profile shape And waffle soul, but everything else has been Cactus Jack-ified. The upper is covered in washed black leather and shaggy suede, giving it a slightly worn-in look utopia The artist loves a lot. Burnt red ribbons stretch across the front. And, of course, there’s a giant backward Swoosh stitched on the side.

Scott is known for his Air Jordan 1s, Air Force 1s and, most recently, CJ1 T-Rex. But he also has the ability to mess around with neo-retro Nike models. Just check out their Air Trainer 1 from 2022 or their mac attack From 2023. He’s one of those rare colleagues who finds the freedom to point to a silhouette and say: “Yeah, that one.”

The Swoosh doesn’t do it for everyone. Scott and Nike have been working together since 2017, when he joined the brand’s ‘AF100’ project and launched its first AF1. Nearly a decade later, this relationship is still churning out shoes that sell out in seconds.

So, will the Travis Scott x Nike Moon Shoe actually get a public release? There has been no official statement from either camp yet, but we are hopeful that it will happen.
