Ducati won both races, with Peco Bagnaia winning the Saturday sprint and Marc Márquez winning the Sunday GP. Previously known for his poor qualifying efforts, Ai Ogura (Aprilia) achieved his first MotoGP pole position and broke the Brno lap record
