Aprilia dominated the MotoGP round at Assen last weekend. The brand captured five of the six available podiums in the two races, including both wins.
The Aprilia Trackhouse Satellite Team took the first two positions in Saturday’s sprint, with Raul Fernandez winning and Ai Ogura second. Ducati, led by Fabio di Giannantonio, finished third.
Aprilia swept the podium in Sunday’s full-length GP. This time Ogura won the race ahead of second placed Fernandez and third placed Jorge Martin.
Martin is the new points leader in the championship. Ogura’s recent strong form has seen him move up to fourth in the championship, just 25 points behind Martin.
