The newly announced Baseline belt line combines Safariland’s long history of duty gear with Healey Strategic’s experience designing equipment for real-world performance. The result is a new belt ecosystem that includes two core models—the Baseline Slick Belt and the Baseline Molle Belt—as well as a growing lineup of compatible accessories.
A foundation was laid for the demonstration
At the center of the lineup is the Baseline Slick Belt, a streamlined gun belt designed to balance toughness, comfort, and low-profile carry. Made from advanced laminate material, the belt provides lightweight support while evenly distributing the weight for long-term wear. One of its standout features is the overlock tab closure system, which works with the integrated 1-inch Raptor buckle to eliminate traditional weak points commonly found in belt closures. The result is a continuous 360-degree support structure designed to remain stable under load.
The slick belt also maintains compatibility with Heli Strategic’s Mandible MOLLE straps, allowing users to quickly attach pouches and accessories without compromising the belt’s clean, minimalist design.
For those who need additional modularity, the baseline MOLLE Belt builds on the same foundation while including a dedicated MOLLE interface. Featuring a refined half-inch gap, the design allows for more precise pouch placement and loadout customization. The belt remains fully compatible with standard MOLLE/PALS systems, Malice Clips and mandible straps, giving users flexibility without adding unnecessary bulk.

The launch itself extends beyond the belt. Healy Strategic developed a full suite of supporting tools designed to integrate with the Baseline platform. Available options include the D3 Inner Belt and D3 Pro Inner Belt, mandible angled and vertical molle straps, magazine pouches for rifle and pistol magazines, and utility-focused accessories such as dump pouches and medical support equipment.
Currently available in black, the Baseline belt line will soon be expanded to include Coyote Brown, Multicam, and Ranger Green.
