- Roush is developing a new performance truck with Ram.
- This model appears to be based on TRX.
- This is Roush’s first truck with Ram (not including the old Dodge Dakota).
Roush Performance, the renowned tuning company best known for its role in creating the most recognizable high-performance Fords, is changing gears. The Michigan-based tuner is turning its attention to Ram to help the truck maker with a new performance vehicle.
Little is known about what this truck might be, but the silhouette photo posted by Roush Instagram The page suggests it could be an even hotter version of the TRX or RHO. Both of these trucks already offer mega power, but with Roush’s touch, they can go even crazier than before.
Although we know little about the extent of the two companies’ collaborative efforts, Roush has a lot to work with when it comes to the Ram brand. The recently revealed 1500 Rumble B seems ready for some additional performance parts and tunes, as does the 2500 Power Wagon.
Roush currently offers a range of modified Ford trucks that range from the Nightmare Street Truck (pictured below) to a lifted RT6, as well as producing a range of aftermarket parts and kits for other Ford models such as the Bronco and Mustang.
We’ll be curious to see what both companies are capable of.

Motor1’s Opinion: We believe it makes great sense for Roush to partner with Ram. Both brands love to get as much performance out of trucks as humanly possible, and we can only imagine what kind of beats both companies can dish out.
