Warning: The following contains spoilers dragon house Season 3, Episode 4
It’s hard to believe that we’re halfway through now dragon house Season 3. A lot has happened – we’ve lost Jess the Face (RIP) and her beloved dragon. We also lost Team Green’s best schemer ever, but another Hightower has quickly taken his place. Enter Ormond (james norton), a real rival to Rhaenyra (emma d’arcy) because she now finds herself on the back foot.

Season 3, Episode 4 spends a lot of time with Ormond as viewers learn more about his master plan. In King’s Landing, Rhaenyra eventually forms a small council. Grand Master Orville (Kurt Agiawan) retained his seat. Mysorea (Sonoya Mizuno) is the mistress of the Queen of Whispers.
Elin (Abubakar Salim) serves as the Queen’s Hand in Corliss’ (steve toussaint) Stable, who believes it is more useful to him to cut down the Triarchy pirates terrorizing Driftmark. Rhaenyra name ser torahen manderly (dan fogler), who was introduced in episode 3 as her Master of Coins (and her expected scapegoat should the little people try to throw any rotten product at her).
Meanwhile, Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) finds Sunfire, who appears to be very much dead. However, Egon says he is not like that (hmm…). Larry’s (Matthew Needham) arranges for the pair of them to work for their accommodation at Rook’s Rest before boarding the next ship to Essos. Kristen (Fabian Frankel) and Gwen (freddie fox) Take the Hightower Host to Harrenhal. There he meets Alice (Gail Rankin), who claims to have flown at Aemond Vhagar after learning that Rhaenyra had taken King’s Landing. Rather than sit idly by, Kristen proposes that they stop the Rivermen from reaching the Westerosi capital to help her.
In Tumbleton, Kat (Ellora Torchia) is attacked by a Hightower officer. He and his family inform Ormund about this heinous act, and Ormund punishes the officer. Elsewhere, Damon (Matt Smith) searches for Rehana (phoebe campbell) in the valley. He pleads with her to either go to Pentos for a reunion aegon and viserysCame back to King’s Landing with her to explain the situation to her youngest child, or Rhaenyra.
When Rhaenys refuses to budge, Daemon finds a solution: he kills an innocent shepherd, decapitates him, and delivers it to Rhaenyra, making sure that Carax has burned it so much that she cannot tell its features. Rhaenyra is not satisfied at first, but Daemon convinces her that nothing will truly ease her grief.

Later, Deron (benjamin evan ainsworth) watches awkwardly as Ormond becomes angry because Emond is not flying to Tumbleton to help him. Ulf (Tom Bennett), who would alternate with Hugh (Kieran Beau) while surveilling Tumbleton on the Dragonback, asks the Queen for a favor for his drinking buddies (he’s a ride or die, that’s what he is). When she refuses to give them up, Ulf informs Rhaenyra about someone writing “Queen of Bastards” on a wall in the city. She sends cloaks of gold to root out the criminal.
Egon struggles with the New World Order, and kisses a sh*t-covered boot (his version of “Kiss the Ring”). Alicent (olivia cook) realizes that Helena (fia saban) is pregnant. Elsewhere, Daeron spends quality time with his dragon Tessarion, the most beautiful blue queen he has ever seen. Ormond orders Daeron to kill Kat’s brother Janos (abhin galea), who attacked the officer who had attacked his sister. Deron protested before reluctantly carrying through with the order.
In this scene we also learn Ormond’s true objective: to raise Daeron as the rightful ruler of Westeros (sorry Aegon and Aemond) to challenge Rhaenyra’s claim to the Iron Throne.
