Helena refused to drink the tea because she wanted to keep her child with her. Adam (clinton liberty) and Bella (bethany antonia) Have Rhaenyra survey the Wendish town where Vágar was last seen. Damon(Matt Smith) is less interested in taking down Vagar and more interested in finding out who is killing his precious gold cloaks. After the meeting, Rhaenyra learns that her son Joffrey, the youngest of the Velaryon boys, has come to the Red Keep from the Vale.

Egon wants to leave Rook’s Rest and head to Wendish Town. He informs Larry’s (Matthew Needham) His desire to kill Aemond. Mysorea (Sonoya Mizuno) knows that Alicent had an unsanctioned visitor, but Alicent claims that Moon Tea is for her, not Helena.

Damon and Luthor (tom cullen) Find more Golden Cloaks on the streets of King’s Landing. We see that Ormond (james norton) is behind the assassinations, in hopes of weakening Rhaenyra’s protective inner circle. Aegon monologues about having all the advantages Aemond had during his childhood. The enraged Laris attacks Aegon, putting the king in his place. She’ll need aloe vera for those extra irritations. Speaking of burns, Daemon survives being engulfed in flames while visiting Rhaenyra in September. They talk about their various concerns in High Valyrian: Rey’s paranoia that someone is out to get her and Damon’s frustration that he can’t catch the Gold Cloak Killer.

Cole’s forces are now on foot, wading through mud and slush to reach Tumbleton before the Rivermen and Winter Wolves. Egon reluctantly returns to Rook’s Rest and reunites with the Larrys, where they see a surprisingly familiar face: Tyland (Jefferson Hall).

Alicent and Helena wear maid uniforms and try to escape the Red Keep, but Massaria captures them. Alicent plays the cards in hand – she tricks Massaria into keeping quiet about Helena’s pregnancy and their attempted escape. Perhaps Massaria might find herself basking in the Hightower lights one day.

More bandits attempt to break into Harrenhal and kill Aemond. Thankfully, he is no longer under the spell of the cursed castle (or Alice) and makes quick work of them. Meanwhile, Larrys and Tyland argue over where to take Aegon. In King’s Landing, Daemon gives a pep talk to the town. He and Luthor torture the man allegedly responsible for the Gold Cloak murder. They get the Dairon coin from his boot.

After finding another river crossing burned by Rivermen, Gwen tries to convince Cole to join forces with Ormond at Tumbleton. Cole reveals that this has all been a suicide mission – he plans to die in this war and take his people with him.

Later, Daemon gives the Daeron coin to Rhaenys, and informs him that Ormund is making Daeron king to challenge him. While Cole tries to boost the morale of his troops, Alicent and Helena discover a secret door to a tunnel in their chambers. Unfortunately, the exit is blocked, and now they are trapped in the dark. Gwen leaves the camp as Cole continues his speech, presumably traveling to Tumbleton.
