Exercise Order Barely Matters: Squats-First or Jumps-First Yields Similar
A new randomized controlled trial puts that debate in sharper perspective: when the workload is identical, the order in which you perform the two barely matters. In an eight-week training study of resistance-trained men, both a resistance-to-plyometric sequence and its reverse produced nearly identical improvements in strength, jumping, sprinting, and change-of-direction performance.
