Electric motorcycles now allowed in ACU enduro competition – thepack.news

Source: Press Release ACU | The Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) has confirmed that following an extended evaluation process by the ACU Enduro Commission, electric motorcycles are now eligible to compete in ACU Enduro events. Access will be subject to specific security requirements and technical guidance is still being finalized.

This decision has been taken after discussions between the Commission and ACU’s insurers Enduro Commission Vice Chairman Andy Waterswho said the organization had worked “Found a way to bring electric motorcycles into enduro,” And the ACU intends to work with event organizers to develop a framework to enable riders to compete on electric machines going forward.
