Following his second departure from WWE, it didn’t take long for Braun Strowman (real name Adam Sher) to find another way to utilize his larger-than-life personality and stature as an entertainer.
The 42-year-old big man has completely dominated his opponents in the ring during his two stints with WWE. Sher won four championships (one Universal, one Intercontinental, and two Raw Tag Team titles), the 2018 Money in the Bank ladder match, and the 2019 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Sher leaves WWE in 2025. Shortly after, he began working on a new series with Bright North Studios and WWE Studios, Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman.
The series follows Sharer’s quest to sample everything at different restaurants around the country. The October 24 pilot was an instant hit on USA Network. Following the success of the first season, a 12-episode second season premiered on June 5.
During an exclusive interview with men’s journalSherr detailed how the show came about, addressed his upcoming projects and a possible return to the ring.

In 2023, Sherer underwent fusion surgery on his C4 and C5 vertebrae and was sidelined from wrestling for 11 months. Unsure of his long-term future in wrestling, Sher considered other ways to entertain his fans.
“What was I supposed to do? Realize that I still want to be able to entertain people, because I know for a fact that I’ve been gifted, as far as my physical stature,” said the longtime WWE fan favorite. “But there’s something inside me that I’m good at making people smile and I enjoy doing it. That’s how I heal my hurts, make other people happy. So, how can we continue this?”
Sherer recalled a time when he was eating at a hibachi place with his agent Nick. The waiter started leaving after taking the order of four courses, but he was surprised when Nick said that those courses were only for the lion.
Later on a phone call, Sher’s friend teases him about how much food he can eat while he is out. That call also included its creator Kevin Duncan everything on the menu.
“We’re walking around and they’re bothering me about how much I eat when I go out and things like that,” Sher said. “I was like, yeah, the reality of it is, most of the time, I just go to these restaurants, I look, and I can’t make up my mind… I order everything on the menu. And we said, ‘Wait a second.'”
And just like that, the idea for everything on the menu Was born. They went to film the pilot episode at the Great Outdoor Supper Club in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Needless to say, he didn’t have to wait long for that important phone call.
“We talked to some streaming services and lo and behold, Val Borland (president of entertainment at Versant Media) saw it… He trusted his guts and took a shot at this big farm animal and here we are in the middle of season two, having incredible ratings and having fun and bringing guests and friends and family to the table for the same reason: to eat everything on the menu.”
Sher is estimated to eat 10,000 to 20,000 calories per sitting. everything on the menu. To prepare for each episode, Sher would fast for 24 hours the day before and do 60 to 90 minutes of cardio.
As far as a standard eating day goes when he’s not trying everything on the menu?
Sher said, “I wake up and eat chicken and rice. Then two and a half hours later I eat chicken and rice. Then two and a half hours later I eat chicken and rice.” “Then I might eat a little bit of beef, and then I’ll eat some more chicken and rice, and then I get up and do it all again.”

“I, yes, I’ve been working on my tequila brand for about a little over a year. I partner with a guy named Mike Winters, who I met through some mutual friends and he’s making 100% Blue Weber, organic agave additive free tequila. Ileana Partida is our master distiller…(her) family is world-renowned in the tequila industry. They reserve it in a beautiful repository. We It’s imported to our warehouse in Stewart, Florida.”

Sherer returned to the ring at the Great Lakes Championship Wrestling event, blizzard controversySunday in Ashipun, Wisconsin. He teamed with Cal Herro in a winning effort against Drew Hernandez, Tony Evans and Tommy Boy.
