The Utes run on Birkenstock’s Deep Blue footbed, a new platform compared to the classic cork insole with a deep heel cup and arch support specifically designed for the inner and outer sides of the foot. Above, you get a soft suede upper with a lace-up closure, with a polyurethane base underneath. They’re great for the office, and many people have found the Deep Blue footbed to be comfortable enough for travel.
