WWE is dealing with a significant internal problem ahead of its second-biggest pay-per-view event, SummerSlam.
SummerSlam 2026 will be held at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the weekend of August 1–2. U.S. Bank Stadium is home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, with a capacity of over 66,000.
On Thursday evening Mohd. Racelytics It was reported that WWE had sold only 22,069 tickets for the first day of SummerSlam. Additionally, it was noted Only 23,809 tickets were sold for the second day till Friday morning.
In an update, WrestleVotes reports that surprisingly low ticket sales have been “a matter of concern internally” at WWE for several weeks.

TKO has faced a lot of criticism for raising ticket prices following the completion of WWE-UFC in September 2023. In October, Brandon Thurston wrestlingnomics New data has revealed that WWE ticket prices have nearly doubled since TKO took ownership.
With only four confirmed matches so far for the SummerSlam 2026 card, it will be interesting to see if WWE rushes to add more bouts to the card in an effort to sell more tickets quickly.
SummerSlam 2025 weekend draws more than 110,000 fans

Last year’s two-day SummerSlam event was held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Per USA TodayStephanie McMahon announced that total attendance across both days was 113,722. There were 60,561 fans on the second day of the show.
Unfortunately for WWE, it already looks like they’ll have a hard time even matching last year’s attendance figures. They now have three weeks to find a solution.
