Denver-area pals! Break out your ugliest sweater and join us for a holiday-themed live recording of Backpacker Radio featuring Andrew Skurka on December 5 at Skylark Lounge.
The legendary backpacker, author, and hiking guide is joining us for an evening of trail insights, holiday LOLz, and goofy attire. Come hang with your fellow Denver-area hiker trash pals and bring your burning backpacking, bidet, and bean-themed questions.
The Deets
- When: December 5, 2026. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the show starts at 6 p.m.
- Where: Skylark Lounge, 140 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80209.
- Who: YOU and your fellow hiker trash pals. This event is 21+.
- Dress code: Ugly sweaters. Ugliest sweater earns bonus raffle tickets.
Trail Talk, Audience Questions, and a Raffle for a Good Cause
Along with the live podcast, we’ll have a live audience Q&A, so this is your chance to ask Andrew your most pressing backpacking questions.
We’re also hosting a live raffle, with proceeds benefiting the Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC). Learn stuff. Win stuff. Laugh at stuff.
