The Conceal SL is a new addition to the Arc’teryx lineup, and it combines the best features of fleece and windbreaker into a highly versatile piece of outerwear.
It’s made from Polartec power stretch fleece with a smooth nylon outer face. On the inside, you get all the cozy warmth you’d expect from a wool jacket, but on the outside, the smooth nylon is finished with a DWR treatment, so you get effective wind-blocking and light moisture resistance. If you’ve ever worn a regular fleece on a windy or rainy day, you know that regular fleece doesn’t provide that kind of protection – the wind blows straight through them, and the rain soaks straight through them.
