Airbnb Turo is offering a really fun deal for cars Select Italian car rentals are just $23 per day this weekend. The theme is “Turo takes Italy into sport.” See, Italy isn’t actually represented at the World Cup, so the brand is reportedly getting the European nation on board with this little promo.
As Turo shared with us: “At midnight ET on June 17, Turo will make the ‘Italy Starting XI’ dream car lineup available to book on a first-come, first-served basis in 11 cities: Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver. One car per market, starting June 19 at 1:00 a.m. local time. Available for travel from 10 a.m. to June 22 at 10 a.m. local time.”
You can check the offer here Turo’s fare page. Word to the wise: The Turo app works much better than the website, so if you really want to book something, I’d switch to pulling the trigger. Another bonus bit of insider info: Some Chase credit cards are currently running cash-back deals where you get a little statement credit after you book a Turo car with your Chase card, so make sure it’s active on your bank account page if it applies to you.
More details from the peer-to-peer car rental company:
“The tour celebrates Italy’s cultural influence, craftsmanship and passion that has made the country a global icon in both sports and automotive design. To allow fans to engage with the campaign and represent the country at the Games, Turo is also dropping an “Italy Starting XI” lineup. The collection includes 11 distinctive Italian vehicles, ranging from an exotic Lamborghini to a vintage Ferrari to iconic Fiats in 11 American and Canadian tournament host cities. Each vehicle is available for rent. Touro for just $23 per day (before taxes and fees) in honor of the 23rd edition of the tournament.”
Whether you care about football or not, the handful of people who are able to pounce on it in time are getting a pretty incredible deal. However, the lineup is quite unbalanced Seattle market gets Ferrari 458 Italia Whereas Atlanta will have to make do with the Fiat 500L. It looks like someone has already claimed the Lamborghini Huracan Evo in Miami, but you may still be able to get one of the other offerings.
