Nissan hasn’t made any significant changes to the Frontier, but it’s getting a little more expensive for 2027. Pickups will start at $34,325 for the entry-level King Cab S 4×2 with a 6.0-foot bed, including a $1,745 destination charge. That’s $430 more than before, and that’s the trend for the rest of the trims.
The automaker continues to offer the truck in crew cab configurations with a 5.0- or 6.0-foot bed and a choice of two- or four-wheel drive. Buyers can now get the truck in Alpine Metallic exterior paint, while the upgraded Qi2 Wireless Charging is available with the Pro convenience package.
The Frontier is also available with the newly launched Sport Edition for $990, which is an available package on the SV trim. It adds some Pro-4X styling and is designed to sit between the two grades. The pack includes 17-inch off-road-style wheels wrapped in an aluminum skid plate, Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires, LED fog lights, and front accent lighting.

The Frontier continues to use the automaker’s naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6. It produces 310 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and is capable of towing up to 7,150 pounds.

Motor1’s Opinion: The Nissan Frontier is already a few years old, but despite that, sales of the naturally aspirated pickup were up nearly 48 percent during the first three months of the year, and the truck posted its best sales in May since 2010. A small price bounce is unlikely to slow that momentum.
