On paper, it’s a strong concept. But a lot of this will depend on actual implementation. All the fits and starts of this cycle have made it so that it’s a little hard for the audience to care about these stakes when the big evil isn’t something that’s been seeded for many projects, but is instead being introduced. it film. WG: Sadly, that’s the corner they’ve backed themselves into, so in most cases what we see is what we get. This also applies to the film’s actual visuals, which look a bit shaky despite the Rossos shooting most of it on practical sets. I definitely think this trailer took a while to come out because the team is still working on the VFX shots, and it’s even evident in moments like Namor flying. Hopefully some of those will be ironed out by the time the finished product arrives in December.
