Real talk: Do any of you have an extra £100,000 to £150,000 (about US$131,968 to $195,521 at the time of writing) lying around? If you do, and you’re also shopping for an incredibly unique and legendary custom motorcycle, I should probably tell you that Alan Milliard is selling his 2009 Milliard Viper V10.
Yes, indeed. He’s really selling it. According to MCN, he needs to make space in his garage, almost as if he’s some ordinary creature or something. (Just imagine it!)
Those of you interested in getting your hands on this beast will be pleased to know that it is fully registered and road-legal in the UK, and has over 9,000 miles on the clock. It’s claimed to make 500 brake horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque, and even holds the Guinness World Record after an incredibly fast (and no doubt equally thrilling and terrifying) speed test of 207 mph on an airstrip.

After acquiring the engine from the 2004 Dodge Viper GTS, it took Millyard five years to build the bike. Naturally, almost everything about this bike had to be built to withstand the extreme stresses of handling the weight, power and torque of that engine. Of course, some parts are handmade, like the exhaust headers. Other parts for this project were repurposed from other things, such as the rear shocks donated by two Yamaha R1s. Special construction requires special problem solving, right?
At any rate, if you’ve long admired Milliard’s work, and this Viper V10 in particular, the chance to own it has finally come. It is scheduled to be part of the next British National Motorcycle Museum auction to be held through H&H Classics on July 22, 2026 at 10am local time. There, it is expected to fetch between £100,000 and £150,000, not including buyer’s premium and VAT.
