Forget Ross Kemp’s animated facial expressions, Miranda Hart learning Little Mix choreography or even James Acaster’s sex appeal (we totally get it) – the real star of The Celebrity Traitors is Claudia Winkleman and her iconic autumn/winter wardrobe.
Teaming up with stylist Sinead McKeefry – who studied fashion at Central Saint Martins and has worked with other celebs such as Motsi Mabuse and Fearne Cotton – the secret behind Claudia Winkleman’s scene-stealingTraitors outfits is actually pretty simple: combine bold prints, interesting textures and impeccable tailoring. Although the host’s wardrobe mostly consists of moody, sombre hues, she occasionally plays with colour as well – and still manages to serve elevated country chic, with a slight gothic twist, every time.
That’s not to say that Claudia approaches every season with the same mindset, though. “I feel like each season brings a new theme,” Sinead told Grazia. “With The Celebrity Traitors, the aesthetic is much more punk/gothic,” she added, noting how Claudia’s style has evolved from season one.
When it comes to the brands she works with, Sinead said she tries to support smaller, independent brands where possible, as well as big designer labels such as Alexander McQueen and Burberry. “I always like to support independent brands, especially knitwear brands, as I know how difficult it is to sustain handmade knitwear as a brand in this climate,” she told the magazine.
Sadly (for us regular folk, anyway), that often means that Claudia’s clothes come with hefty price tags to match. But luckily for you, we’ve not only tracked down Claudia’s actual Celebrity Traitors outfits, but we’ve also put together more affordable alternatives to shop. You’re welcome.

Episode 8

Tensions may be growing in the castle, but one thing remains a constant: Claudia’s impeccable dress sense. In episode 8, the host wore a black Kooples mini dress with a white Peter Pan collar, high-denier tights and fringed black loafers.

Claudia was suited and booted in this structured tweed suit from Barrington Ayre. She paired it with a playful mustard tie and matching socks, as well as some brown leather fringed loafers.

Episode 6
During the task, Claudia wore a cosy multi-coloured alpaca and wool-blend polo jumper by Celine, styled with a classic waxed Barbour jacket, Nili Lotan khakis and brown Miu Miu combat boots (£1,650, Farfetch.com).

Later on at the Round Table, switched things up, donning a perfectly tailored Bella Freud suit with a structured blush pink blouse from the same designer and her favourite Bottega Veneta boots. What really elevated the look, however, was the addition of a shirt collar chain, which added a bit of edge.

Episode 5
In episode 5, the BBC’s very own Scream Queen opted for a romantic Victorian lace blouse from Judy R, with bellowing sleeve detail. She wore it with an elegant cashmere sweater vest finished with an Argyle design (£475, Johnstonsofelgin.com), along with fringed black leather loafers from Church and black cropped trousers by ME + EM.

As ever, the presenter was bang on trend with these Nili Lotan barrel trousers in episode 5, which she wore with a buckled shirt from Comme Des Garçons and some simple leather Bottega Veneta ankle boots.

Episode 4
Proving that she very much understood the assignment (The Celebrity Traitors is filmed in the Scottish Highlands, after all), Claudia chose a black mid-legnth kilt, complemented by a pop of pink with her Comme Des Garçons shirt (£244, Netaporter.com) and some leather Grenson brogues.

Elsewhere in episode 4, the presenter paired an embellished knee-length Chopova Lowena skirt with a Judy Clark puff-sleeve knitted jumper and a black shearling jacket by 16Arlington.

Episode 3
It wouldn’t be Celebrity Traitors without a bit of red tartan – and Claudia delivered with this edgy Alexander McQueen mini skirt. Finished with a wool Paul Smith bomber and the host looked impossibly cool.

Just like us, Claudia loves a classic white shirt, and in episode 3 of Celebrity Traitorswore a structured top with oversized cuffs by Connolly, along with a jacquard skirt from the same brand, and a Genevieve Sweeney jacquard vest with teal accents.

Episode 2
Keeping it simple, Claudia’s pared-back look in episode 2 consisted of a pair of Bottega Veneta ankle boots, a plum merino wool sweater vest by Genevieve Sweeney and a pair of simple black Nili Lotan pants. Adding a bit of drama to the look, she wore a pearl trouser chain from Simone Rocha.

Layering a high-neck COS top made from merino wool with a black puffball dress by Shushu/Tong, Claudia combined practicality and style with this Round Table look.

Episode 1
Can’t decide whether to wear trousers or a skirt? Why not go for both, as Claudia did with this vintage tartan look from Vivienne Westwood? She paired it with a wool bomber jacket by Skye, along with her trusty black Bottega Veneta ankle boots.

When deciding who should be a traitor and who should be a faithful, Claudia looked regal in her ruffled Comme Des Garçons shirt and classic black Kooples blazer.
