Riders interested in trying out Zero Motorcycles’ latest electric off-road model now have a new opportunity in Italy. Through a technical partnership with Freeracing, the Zero XB and Zero XE will be available during off-road training courses and dedicated riding events, giving participants the chance to experience the
This collaboration brings together one of the world’s leading electric motorcycle manufacturers and one of Italy’s most renowned off-road riding schools, founded by rally legend Oscar Poli.
Practical way to experience electric off-road riding
Instead of static demonstrations, as part of freeracing’s training activities, participants will ride the Zero XB and Zero XE on a variety of terrain.
It aims to demonstrate how instant torque delivery, absence of a clutch and advanced electronic power management impact off-road riding, allowing riders to focus on line selection, traction and bike control.
For many participants, it will also be an opportunity to compare electric motorcycles with traditional combustion-powered machines.
X-Line will feature in training courses and programs
Electric motorcycles will be integrated into the Motocross and Enduro schools as well as several freeracing events throughout the season.
Test rides will take place in Ottobiano and Santia, while there will also be opportunities to ride the Zero
Oscar Poli adds world-class off-road expertise
FreeRacing was founded by 2008 Rally Raid World Champion and Africa Eco Race winner Oscar Poli, who has spent over 25 years developing off-road riding techniques and training programs.
His experience makes the school an ideal environment to introduce riders to the features of electric off-road motorcycles.
Helping riders discover electric technology
Zero Motorcycles sees this partnership as more than a marketing initiative. By allowing riders to experience its electric technology in realistic riding conditions, the company hopes to demonstrate the advantages of instant torque, simplified controls and precise power delivery.
As electric motorcycles expand into the off-road segment, initiatives like this could help accelerate acceptance among riders who have not yet experienced the technology first-hand.
Instead of asking riders to rely on specifications on paper, Zero Motorcycles is letting them experience the X Line where it matters most: on dirt, trails, and technical terrain. That practical approach could prove to be one of the most effective ways to show off what modern electric off-road motorcycles are capable of.
