Ultimate Mountain Athlete: Episode 1

How do you determine the best athlete in any sport? No doubt head-to-head competition. But until recently, there was no such thing for all-around mountain athletes. There were plenty of champions in individual disciplines – climbing, skiing and mountain biking – but there was no way to crown a champion of them all.

So in partnership with toyota truckWe decided to do something about it. The result is Ultimate Mountain Athlete, an unprecedented competition held in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Season 1 began in 2024 and now Season 2 is arriving, bringing together some of the best multisport athletes of all time. The men’s and women’s champions will each receive the title of Ultimate Mountain Athlete and a cash prize of $20,000.
