Acting legend Sam Neill starred in some extremely popular films during his lifetime, notably Jurassic Park Franchise. However, the film joint passion Wasn’t one of them.

There was no dearth of star power in the film. In addition to Neill, it stars French acting veterans Gérard Depardieu and Tim Roth. The Rotten Tomatoes blurb states, “Jules Rimet (Gérard Depardieu), Joao Havelange (Sam Neill) and Sepp Blatter (Tim Roth) overcome obstacles to make the World Cup a reality.”
Neil passed away after a battle with cancer. “The main thing is that he was intensely fighting various forms of cancer for at least the last five years,” said his former girlfriend Laura Tingle. but said sydney mornings. “It takes its toll on anyone’s body. She had a lot of chemo and a lot of immunotherapy.”
He added, “Thankfully, it eventually cured him of his blood cancer. But it compromised his immune system a lot. I think his poor old body is getting a little tired.”
Even Neil did not like the film. “Possibly the worst title for a movie ever made. And I’m reliably told (I haven’t seen it) that it’s considered one of the worst movies ever made, if not the worst.” Neil wrote in his book. “Frankly, I couldn’t care less. It was funded by FIFA itself, a vanity project if ever there was one. The proposal came in, and it came with a lot of money. Ridiculous.”
Film critics panned the Sam Neill film, calling it ‘terrible’ and ‘utterly bizarre’.

The critics were not kind. “One of those rare movies so incredibly terrible that you could sit through its endless 110 minutes and write a better movie,” Critic wrote for Wrap.
Wrap The film has been called “a $29 million FIFA-funded historical drama about the soccer conglomerate”, adding, “Since FIFA is accused of taking more than $150 million in bribes and reportedly has $1.5 billion in the bank, joint passion “It must have seemed like a good deal.”

Fans hailed the film as ‘the toughest film in history’

Another fan wrote, “Not worth watching, 2 hours wasted. Not even worth 1 star.” One fan said, “Half a star. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.”
One fan wrote, “A strange piece of publicity. Though the story and intention are not genuine, at least the production values and cast are good.”
