Brooks Glycerine 22 Running Shoe, from $104 (was $165)
Why do we like this deal?
Amazon Prime Day is still a week away (the savings event runs from June 23 to June 25), but deals are already popping up. In addition to a huge selection of introductory discounts on power tools, camping gear and grills, there’s also a selection of running shoes from top brands. One of them is Brooks’ top-rated Glycerine 22.
Brooks Glycerine 22 is on sale for as low as $104, a 37% discount from its usual price of $165 before the big sale. This shoe is a staple of Brooks’ running shoe lineup, and users love its well-cushioned, comfortable ride. As always with Amazon, prices vary depending on size and color, but we found consistent $104 pricing in sizes 8 to 12 (which may change as more sell out). It’s rare to see Brooks running shoes for more than 20% off, and this huge discount from Amazon beats the prices at DSW and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

What shoppers need to know
- Upper: synthetic fabric
- Midsole: DNA tuned
- weight: 10.2 ounces
- drop: 10 mm
The Glycerin 22 is an outgoing model (Brooks released a 23), but don’t let that scare you – it’s an excellent running shoe.
The 22 was a major update with an all-new midsole foam, DNA tuned for an even softer and more responsive ride. DNA Tuned is a nitrogen-rich foam, and features larger nitrogen cells in the heel for softer cushioning when landing and smaller cells in the forefoot for a more responsive “pop” off the toe-off. Focusing on the midsole, you’re not missing anything with the 22: the 23 uses exactly the same cushioning material. Upper, the textile jacquard knit upper features an open mesh forefoot to allow for breathability, and the relatively wide shape of the sole gives the shoe natural stability.
When looking at different brands, think about how the Glycerine compares to other mainstream cushioned trainers like Hoka Bondi. Both have similar overall designs, but the Glycerine is slightly lighter (the Bondi weighs 10.5 ounces) and has a more responsive cushioning foam (the Bondi uses plain EVA foam without any nitrogen infusion). And considering the Bondi retails for $175, Glycerin is a really attractive option in this range.

what shoppers are saying
Amazon shoppers cite its “truly luxurious” ride, saying it’s “the best version of Glycerine.” In addition to running, many reviewers wear this model for everyday outings and casual wear, saying it’s “durable, comfortable, and offers incredible support.”
Glycerine 22 is completely sold out at Brooks and almost out of stock at other retailers. With this 37% discount in effect, we’re betting Glycerine sells out fast—it might not even last until Prime Day. Get your pair ready as soon as possible before this happens.
