UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Oct. 27 — Russian forces attacked a warehouse of KSD publishing house in Kharkiv. None of the employees was injured, the press service of the KSD said.

On Oct. 27, Russian forces attacked the Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, and Kholodnokhirskyi districts of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv’s mayor, said.

The KSD’s warehouse is located in one of the city’s districts that was attacked. The publishing house can’t assess the extent of the damage as Russian attacks in this area continue.

The publishing house has been forced to postpone the release of new books because of the damage from the Russian attack.

On Aug. 1, a Russian airstrike hit the Ranok publishing house warehouse in Kharkiv, destroying around 8 million books in a fire, including book stocks belonging to publishers and the Knyholand bookstore chain. It was one of the largest losses the Ukrainian book industry has suffered since Russia launched its full-scale invasion.
