I previously owned a Marcy bench that lasted me well through the years so wanted to give this foldable bench a try. The fact that it came already assembled was a big plus for me, and it looks great folded and is function, sturdy and pretty well made. Highly recommend it.
Excellent bench for the money. Folds to fit under a bed or in a closet. I've been using it for a few weeks and am extremely satisfied. I only buy Marcy benches and they never disappoint.
This is a great addition to any home gym. My gym area is also used for other purposes, so it was important to have something that could easily be stowed out of the way. This is the perfect answer! When folded, it takes up very little space. Took me a while to figure out where to store the pin, but then I realized there was another piece hanging on the bench there that didn’t seem to belong. Apparently, when it’s in the folded position, the pin goes into the bracket, holding it tightly closed. It is an excellent set up for portability! I have attached a photo of the pin in the bracket
I am not an expert on weight benches, but my trainer says this one is top-notch! I love that the positions are so easy to change… Simply pull out the spring adjustment knobs, and the back, or the seat, can easily be moved, and then locked, into many different angles. My hands are not very strong, and these are a breeze.
The only negative is that mine came with something that looked like tape remnants on the side of the seat. Things like that really bother me because I like my things to be very nice. I have attached a photo of that as well. Love this bench, but I deducted a star for the damage because this sort of issue speaks for quality control of the company.
This is an excellent, high quality bench, with the added benefit of portability and simple storage. Highly recommend!
