The five-time NBA All-Star has offered to free agent LeBron James as the 41-year-old considers his options.
Last week, news broke that LeBron James was leaving the Los Angeles Lakers after eight seasons. James’s agent Rich Paul told Mark Medina of Forbes Last week he said he did not expect his client to make a decision “anytime soon.”
During Thursday’s FIFA World Cup quarterfinal matchup between France and Morocco, Philadelphia 76ers new superstar Jaylen Brown offered his recruiting chops to James during a livestream with iShowSpeed.
Brown instructed IShowSpeed to ask James to “pull up to Philly”, and James obliged:

Earlier this week, ESPN’s Shams Charania Said when he talks to sources around the NBA, the 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat “keep coming” in the LeBron sweepstakes.
In a surprise move, the 76ers acquired Brown from the rival Boston Celtics in exchange for Paul George, two first-round selections and a pair of second-round selections. The trade was completed after Boston unsuccessfully attempted to send Brown to the Milwaukee Bucks in a blockbuster deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was sent to Miami.
Brown averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game last season.

James is no longer at his peak, but he is still a real difference-maker and will significantly boost his new team’s chances of winning a championship. He was limited to 60 games in 2025–26, but still averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.
