A top expert has issued a challenge to the FBI and other law enforcement in the missing person case of Nancy Guthrie.
Jennifer Coffindaffer, a retired FBI agent who attends newsnation As a law and justice contributor, wrote a list of questions On June 18, in her X page that she wanted answers to, she accused the FBI and law enforcement of “not making any sense.” Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson home on February 1 and has not been seen since. The evidence released publicly has been scant, if any, and no suspect or motive has been identified, at least not for public consumption.

“Nancy Guthrie LE and the FBI make no sense,” Coffindaffer wrote in the post. Then he listed a series of questions that were confusing him.
- “Where is the enhanced photo of the porch person? It exists. Why is it not shared with the public to help the public?”
- “Billboards: Why do they have Nancy’s face on them? If you want more help from the public put Porch Guy’s face and add Spanish. Or do you know who Porch Guy is?”.
- “Vehicles: Nothing on any traffic or Ring/Nest cams to deliver after 4 months? Nothing. This is unfortunately possible.”
- “Finally, find 0 from the other day? Why? What harm could it do?”
He said, “No contact with Mexican authorities from the beginning – remember. Either LE (law enforcement) knows who is responsible or the ball has been dropped. 25 years in the FBI tells me they should have an idea who is behind this.” “If that’s not the case, let the public help. Release enhanced photos. Change the billboards. Start searching the desert.”
Who is the porch boy?

‘Porch Guy’ refers to photos previously released by the FBI of a masked, armed man who was captured on Guthrie’s door cam video. He was never identified, although the FBI released a height estimate and assessed that the individual was a man.
The door cam video is the most shocking and important evidence released so far in this case.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos found out first Authorities have declined to consider Guthrie’s children and their spouses as suspects in the case. Beyond that, they have said little about any suspects other than releasing doorbell camera photos. Law enforcement has stopped holding regular press briefings in the case.
“The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may be lost, corrupted or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of the recording device.” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote On the X when the images were first released.
