A few weeks ago, I shared a list of 650+ new queer books coming out in the first half of 2026. Now, I’m back with a spreadsheet of 250+ new weird books coming out in the second half of the year. You can see these are very different numbers, and that’s because I usually learn about a lot of weird books closer to their release date. Fall is the biggest publishing season, and I expect even more queer books to be published over the next few months. Still, this list may give you an idea of the most anticipated quirky books of July-December!
