N.D. (Valley News Live) – One local men’s health activist is running 60 miles to benefit the nonprofit Movember Foundation. Movember aims to raise awareness about men’s health topics including mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer

Keegan Effertz is putting together ‘Dash for the Stache’ which will be a 60 mile consecutive run that he will run on his family farm on November 7th.

The 60 miles represents the 60 men around the world that die by suicide each hour.

“I’ve gone through some personal struggles and am just here to speak out about it and let men know that it’s alright to speak about it,” said Effertz.
