The late South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham, who died suddenly of apparent heart failure, never had a wife and was never married.
A brief statement released by Graham’s office indicated that he died of a “brief and sudden illness” and requested privacy and prayers for his family. This left many people wondering: who is Lindsey Graham’s family?
“Graham was not married and had no children. His closest living relative is sister Darlene Graham Nordone, whom he helped raise after both of their parents died,” KCRA-TV reported.

According to his office description, Graham, a South Carolina native, “grew up in a blue-collar family in the small town of Central, where his parents ran a restaurant and pool hall. The first member of his family to attend college, Graham earned bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Seneca and is a member of Corinth Baptist Church.”
The bio states, “After serving his country in uniform for 33 years, he retired from the Air Force Reserve in June 2015. He retired with the rank of colonel.”
