If it’s a Thursday evening during Paris Men’s Fashion Week — and especially if the temperature outside is 100 degrees (sorry, 38 Celsius) — there’s only one place to be: on the dance floor at L’Avenue, sweating. gq x Levi’s Paris Fashion Week Party.
Back for its eighth summer, last night’s edition gqThe biennial fashion week party was the first to be held by the new gq Global Editorial Director Adam Baidawi, who convened a team of colleagues gq The occasion featured the week’s hottest guest list, along with editors from around the world. Also worth celebrating: L’Ave now has air conditioning. What better way to show some excitement than during the hottest Paris Fashion Week in history?
Excitement was high inside the Avenue Montaigne hotspot, where the likes of Drew Starkey, Maluma, Joshua Hong, Law Roach, Vinny Hacker and Delaney Rowe mingled with fashion-industry stars including Nicholas Daley, Bianca Saunders and Saul Nash, fresh from their shows in Milan. New Yorkers in the crowd chanted “Knicks in five!” Had to stop myself from shouting. That’s when newly minted NBA champion Tyler Kolek came in.
A stellar trio of female DJs produced the night’s high-energy soundtrack: Jeune Paus, Samantha Deep, and gq Paris party veteran Kitty Ca$h. Even when Kitty’s set was halted due to a momentary power outage at 1 a.m. (a reality when the City of Lights becomes a city of a stressed electrical grid), she immediately restarted the decks and then brought the house down by playing Yung Miami’s smash “Spend That,” a top-tier contender for Song of the Summer of 2026. This was the moment of the night, except perhaps when the one and only Future descended upon L’Avenue for an 11th Hour (also known as 3 a.m.) performance. In true Pluto fashion, he shut down the club.
