Warning: The following contains spoilers dragon house Season 3, Episode 3, and fire and blood
This is Rhaenyra’s (emma d’arcy) The first day at the helm of the kingdom, and ruling the Seven Kingdoms is certainly no walk in the park. From complaints about candle shortages to empty coffers to the High Septon (simon chandler) Refusing to anoint her as queen, Rhaenyra struggles to survive dragon house Episode 3. And now it looks like one of his strongest supporters may be turning against him—Corliss (steve toussaint). Of course, he Did To ensure that he sits on the Iron Throne, he loses the love of his life and his royal seat.
Most of all, Ormond (james norton) sends a fake Daeron to Rhaenyra (Charlie Gordon), proving that he has no intention of swearing allegiance to her. Not only that, but he, the original Deron and Hightower host, has taken Tumbleton. Ormond will not go easy on that good night.
While we wait for episode 4 with bated breath, here are my six predictions for what happens next:
Damon will find Rehana in the valley
Listen, I know I predicted this last week, and it didn’t pan out. However, Rhaenyra has now entrusted the task to Daemon (Matt Smith) with a trip to the valley to collect gold from Jenny Erin (amanda collin), so he is obliged to look for his runaway daughter Rehana (phoebe campbell) is hiding there with her giant thorny baby. Rhaenyra also wants the “Sheepstealer Rider” brought to her. It’s only a matter of time before Damon finds out that Rena indirectly caused Jess (Harry Collett) Death. My guess is that he would lie to Rhaenyra to protect Rhaenys.
Something will happen to Kat at Tumbleton, forcing Hugh to go there.
cat (Ellora Torchia) has already been confirmed to be in Tumbleton, but Hugh (Kieran Beau) He needs something to inspire him to venture there. By now, he probably believes he is safer where he is. However, Ormond and Hightower host set up camp at Tumbleton. In fire and bloodHugh and Ulf (Tom Bennett) change their robes during First Battle of Tumbleton. If Cat was somehow hurt and Hugh left without Rhaenyra’s permission, perhaps this would continue to sow the seeds for her future betrayal.
Rhaenyra drags her feet on providing accommodation for Hugh, and Daemon treats the dragonseeds like trash. Maybe Hugh won’t need much effort to move to Team Green.
Speaking of dragonseeds, Rhaenyra will deny Ulf’s request.
dragon house Season 3 is not-so-subtly laying the groundwork for Hugh and Ulf to betray Rhaenyra. I predict that Ulf will ask her for something in episode 4, and she will reject it, no matter what it is. Combine this with the way Damon treats him, and I can see it being enough for Ulf to sniff out Team Green and see what they’re all about. Hugh may be hard to impress, but Ulf seems like he’ll favor whoever offers him the most bang for his buck. Perhaps Ormond would promise him a castle and lordship.
Toren Manderly will join Rhaenyra’s Small Council
Toren Manderley (dan fogler) seemed heavily influenced by Rhaenyra’s rat stunt in Episode 3. He also has a confident swagger, and looks rich. Perhaps he will step in as Rhaenyra’s Master of Coin and help replenish the Crown’s coffers. I can see him clashing with Daemon and possibly Massaria (Sonoya Mizuno), which will make for some entertaining on-screen dynamics.
Helena’s mental condition will improve

if you have read fire and bloodYou know what happens to poor Helena (fia saban). (I warned that the books may contain spoilers.) In Episode 3, she tells Rhaenyra that she doesn’t want to live in the castle. Unfortunately, Rhaenyra has captured him and Alicent (olivia cook) captive and allowed him to see Zehera only once a week. I predict that this will have a significant impact on Helena’s already precarious mental state, sowing the seeds of her death. I desperately want this sweet girl to get her chickens, but this was never going to be a “happy ending” kind of story.
We will learn about Ormond’s purpose
at the end of dragon house Episode 3, Rhaenyra asks about Ormond’s purpose. What is he playing? I believe we’ll find out in episode 4. The season is halfway through, and we still don’t know that much about Ormond. He is desperate to protect Daeron and continues to conquer parts of Westeros even after “bending the knee”. Daemon tells Ormond that Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Emond (evan mitchell) have fled, leaving behind a brother who could rule…Daeron. I predict that Ormond’s grand plan is to advance Daeron to challenge Rhaenyra for the Iron Throne.
Little does Ormond know that Aegon is still planning to regain his seat.
