One of the greatest wrestlers of the 21st century has officially been cremated in the ring.
Over the past year, several wrestling legends have retired, including Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles. Earlier this week, The Great Khali also announced his retirement from in-ring competition.
Now, you can call it a career by adding the two-time WWE Women’s Champion and five-time TNA Knockouts Champion to your list of wrestling legends.
During a recent Whatnot stream (h/t F4WOnline.com), WWE veteran Victoria (real name Lisa Marie Varon) announced that she has also entered the ring.
“No, no. I’m retired. I’m retired,” Varon said. “My body hurts, you guys. I’m still into pretense, and whatnot is my new favorite thing.”
Varon’s final wrestling match took place on the January 26, 2023 episode of Impact Wrestling. She made a surprise appearance and teamed with Gisele Shaw in a losing effort against Jessica and Taya Valkyrie for the Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
After leaving WWE in 2009, Varon competed as “Tara” in Impact/TNA Wrestling, where she claimed five TNA Knockouts World Championships and the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship on one occasion with Brooke Tessmacher.
Victoria is a lock for the WWE Hall of Fame

In 2024, Varon was inducted into the Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame. It’s only a matter of time until she earns her place in the WWE Hall of Fame as well.
Varon won the WWE Women’s Championship twice and was instrumental in building the women’s wrestling division alongside women such as Lita, Trish Stratus, Mickie James, Gail Kim and Molly Holly.
Now working for WWE under a Legends deal, Victoria should be inducted into the Hall of Fame soon.
