Adding a small spike weight to the tail of the bait lifts the bait off the bottom and makes it stand up to keep it in the strike zone longer with a finesse presentation. Neko rigs have become a favorite technique for anglers fishing clear and pressured waters for bass. So FishLab created a slim body profile and compact craw for the technology. The head of the bait mimics young crawfish and freshwater shrimp so bass can easily latch onto the bait, while the tail features a reinforced spring spine for added durability during repeated rigging with nail weights. O-rings can be added to the center section of the bait for rigging to increase bait life, or it can be hooked directly to it for easier rigging.
