EICMA 2026: Ultraviolette X-47 Venom Launched in Europe

Ultraviolette claims that it has become the first Indian company to retail electric motorcycles in Europe

Ultraviolette has officially launched the X-47 Venom in Europe at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. Last month, the all-electric motorcycle was launched in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Sharing the all-new VX-100 100V architecture with Tesseract maxi-scooter, it is the second company model to go on sale in European markets after the F77. Ultraviolette claims that it has become the first Indian company to retail electric motorcycles in Europe. The Europe-spec Tesseract was also showcased at the EICMA 2026.

Featuring the SRB-11 battery technology, Ultraviolette X-47 Venom returns an IDC range of 343 km on a single charge. In addition, it delivers top power of 40.2 bhp and peak wheel torque of 550 Nm. The company is offering a 1.6 kW On-board Charger with the all-electric motorcycle, which is touted as the World’s Most Power Dense Air-Cooled On-board Charger.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, commented, “The F77 marked our first step in bringing Ultraviolette’s performance, design and technology to riders in Europe. With the launch of the X-47 Venom, we are expanding our global portfolio and catering to a new segment of riders. The X-47 Venom combines the versatility of a Crossover with advanced radar technology and integrated cameras, bringing performance and intelligent rider safety together in one of the world’s most technologically advanced motorcycles.”

It does the 0-60 kmph sprint in just 2.7 secs while taking around 5.9 secs for a 0-100 kmph sprint. Ultraviolette claims that the X-47 Venom is capable of outperforming all the 200-450cc ICE-powered bikes currently on sale in India. It can clock a top speed of 155 kmph due to the introduction of the UV LIGHTFURY Motor, which is lighter and faster while equipped with advanced Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC).

Tipping the weighing scale at 180 kg, it is nearly up to 20 kg lighter than the previous generation platform. Some of the notable features onboard the X-47 Venom are 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, UV Hypersense Radar intelligence (World’s first-in-segment), Integrated front and rear Dashcams, Battery Management System (BMS) with pyro-fuse, Park Assist, and Cruise Control.

Ultraviolette X-47 Venom’s SRB-11 battery technology is designed with up to 20 percent greater energy density and 2X cooling performance. The battery housing is carried out in cast-aluminium for impact protection and reduced mass. The X-47 Venom features a next-generation motor control unit (MCU) engineered to be twice as compact while delivering 3X power density.
