It’s been an adventurous journey for Connor Storey. A year ago, not many people had heard of it heated rivalry star, now he’s chatting with Madonna at the Saint Laurent show and on his other side is Kate Moss while Charli XCX and Rami Malek sit just a few feet away.
However, fashion shows are not just about celebrities or even clothes. It’s all about the look – the way it’s perfectly styled and accessorized on the runway. So, of course, it’s also about a watch, and Storey has come up with a nice watch. On his wrist, Storey was rocking a Jaeger-LeCoultre Versato. We know this isn’t the rarest flex. Celebrities and their stylists have long been considering other options beyond the standard Cartier Tank for moments like these, with the Giorgio being chief among them.

But it was a little more interesting than the beautiful, handsome Roversos we often see now. It was a chronograph reverso. Plus, one of its two flippable dials was open to reveal all the engineering crammed into that rectangular steel case. A moon phase on the Reverso, sure, but a chronograph? It’s not what you expect.
But it works: the movement’s silvery complication and blue chronograph hands are nicely framed by the plain, Art Deco-inspired bezel. This isn’t the kind of cautionary statement that could spell the end of larger, rounder designs with similar functionality. Anyway, the plain dial is still there to keep things sleek and attractive if you prefer.
Despite being a relative novice on the red carpet, Storrie knows how to wear a watch that holds its own. He has worn dress watches from sporty-coded brands such as Omega de Ville Prestige and Omega Constellation Observatory (the latter at the Met Gala). She has worn some very attractive things, like as tiffany cocktail Actor Award. He is on a great run, long may it continue.
