For anyone looking for the perfect summer wedding suit, we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that there is no perfect suit for a summer wedding (there are lots of great suits out there, but the one that’s right for you depends on your taste, body type, and budget). Good news? Callum Turner’s recent marriage to Dua Lipa presented at least three options that are as perfect as one could ask for, the latest of which is-A sleek custom Louis Vuitton tuxedo– Impeccably demonstrated the correct way to do black tie.
Briefly, the couple’s wedding trilogy began last month in London, where Turner wore a stunning tone-on-tone Ferragamo number to a civil ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall. This look – a strong-shouldered midnight-blue double-breasted suit with wide peak lapels and a matching navy shirt and tie – offers a swirly monochrome alternative to the standard wedding suit or tux. A week later, the couple flew to Palermo, Sicily, for a reception, where Turner debuted her second wedding suit, a khaki Louis Vuitton unit with a three-button jacket and wide, slightly flared trousers.

However, like any good showman, Turner saved the best for last. For the main event, which took place at the Villa Valguarnera over the weekendSet in an 18th-century mansion nicknamed “Little Versailles,” Turner walked down the aisle in a special Louis Vuitton tuxedo that was designed for him by Pharrell Williams, the maison’s creative director for menswear. Not only was the dress the best of the bunch, but it also validated our long-held belief that when choosing a tux for a wedding, classic is the only way to go. Wisely, Turner’s tuxedo was single-breasted, with satin-covered peak lapels and buttons, worn with a white cotton tuxedo shirt and a pair of simple black derbies. The only piece of flair was a red silk peony boutonniere, which provided just the right amount of color and softness to contrast with the severity of the suit.
