Bajio teams up with captains for clean water

Bajio is working together with the Captains for clean water - Temple of Change Collaboration

bajio sunglasses working together with leaders of clean water On a new conservation project, Temple of Change Collaboration. This is a limited-edition collection of sunglasses designed to support Everglades restoration efforts, fisheries, communities and outdoor traditions that all depend on clean water. Through this limited-edition collection, $20 from every frame sold will be donated to Captains of Clean Water. This helps support their mission and gives fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts a direct way to support the mission when receiving their fishing sunglasses.

“Protecting clean water isn’t just good for fish – it’s also important for the communities, cultures and outdoor experiences that depend on it,” said Al Perkinson, founder of Bajio. “Captains for Clean Water has been doing important work to support Everglades restoration and protect the future of our fisheries for years, and we are proud to partner with them to give our customers the opportunity to be part of that effort.”

The Temples of Change collab collection features two exclusive frame designs, inspired by water and the species that make clean water worth protecting. First up is the Sigs frame, which features Captain for Clean Water’s signature rope and knot design, paired with the signature Bajio laurel on the outer temple in a matte finish. The second frame is the Stiltsville frame, which displays the silver king of the coast, the Atlantic Tarpon, in a black gloss finish on the outer temple. Celebrating this iconic species that depends on healthy waterways to survive.

“America’s Everglades is one of the world’s most important ecosystems, and its restoration depends on people willing to get involved,” said Captain Daniel Andrews, co-founder and CEO of Captains for Clean Water. “What makes this partnership special is that it gives people a tangible way to support that work. Through Temples of Change, Bajío has found a creative way to connect the stories, species and waters we care about with conservation action that helps protect them.”

As a limited edition collection, only 600 total frames will be produced in the Temples of Change collaboration, with 300 Sigs frames and 300 Stiltsville frames available. The limited-edition frames can come with either poly lenses or glass lenses and will retail for $219 and $269, respectively. These frames will be available in readers, prescription and non-prescription lens options and can be found Here Starting from June 18, 2026.
