Amazon’s Prime Day sale is live until June 26, and this year, some of the best deals can be found on Hisense smart TVs, Clarks chukka boots, and great Citizen watches. Brand-name running shoes also have a heavy presence during the sale, but a discount on a super plush Asics shoe almost ruined my breakfast for me — it’s more than half off right now, which is the biggest discount we’ve seen on a pair of Asics since 2024.
The Asics GlideRide Max is on sale for just $80 during Prime Day, which is a whopping 53% off its usual price of $170. It’s unusual to find any pair of Asics shoes for more than 30% off, let alone more than half off. Amazon’s current pricing easily beats prices from other retailers, including Dick’s Sporting Goods and Fleet Feet. The price of shoes on Amazon usually varies by color and size, but the GlideRide is available for $80 in at least one color in sizes 8 to 12, including half sizes.
