A Tesla Cybertruck Owner Says a Massive Tree Trunk Fell on His Truck, but It Didn’t Even Leave a Scratch – He Adds, “A Tree Picked a Fight With My Cybertruck, and It Lost”

Tom, a Cybertruck owner from Texas, says a massive tree trunk fell directly on his truck, but it didn’t leave a scratch.

Tom quips that the tree picked a fight with his Cybertruck, but the tree lost.

Here is what happened. Tom recently had an appointment at a commercial building, parked his Cybertruck next to a tree, and went inside.

During his meeting, his Cybertruck sent him

During his meeting, his Cybertruck sent him a couple of alerts that he didn’t think much of. But when he got out, he was surprised to find a massive tree trunk on top of his Cybertruck.

Like anyone, Tom was concerned when he saw a large tree trunk on his Cybertruck, but to his surprise, it didn’t damage the vehicle at all.

Tom says he initially noticed a few scratches, but after wiping down his vehicle, it was pristine.

Tom goes on to say that since there

Tom goes on to say that since there was no damage, he didn’t even bother talking to the parking lot owner. He simply pushed the tree trunk off his Cybertruck and went on with his day.

Understandably, Tom is happy with how his Cybertruck handled the situation, and he shared his experience on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum.

“A tree tried to pick a fight with my Cybertruck today…

While I was out at an appointment, my Cybertruck sent me two alerts: an alarm trigger and suspicious activity warning.

I briefly checked the Sentry footage

I briefly checked the Sentry footage in the app but didn’t spot anything right away. It wasn’t until I walked back up to the truck that I saw a massive tree trunk leaning right against the driver-side rear quarter panel!

Looking more closely at the Sentry camera footage, it appears to be a random event. Surprisingly, the truck took almost no damage, just minor scratches that wiped right off.

Since the Cybertruck shrugged off its showdown with a tree trunk, I didn’t even bother contacting the building owner.

Here are the Sentry videos and the before/after images.”

Below his post, Tom shared several pictures and a video of the incident.

The video shows a gust of wind shaking

The video shows a gust of wind shaking a tree next to the Cybertruck, and a massive trunk crashing down onto it at high speed.

Tom also shares a photo he took of the tree on top of his Cybertruck. The tree is broken in half, while the Cybertruck appears to be relatively unscathed.

He shares another photo he took after pushing the tree trunk off the Cybertruck. The stainless-steel panels show barely any dents or scratches.

That’s certainly impressive, and looking at the comments,

That’s certainly impressive, and looking at the comments, fellow Cybertruck owners say that another truck in the same situation would likely have sustained significant damage.

A fellow Cybertruck owner from Washington writes…

“The Cybertruck’s damage resistance is its most underrated feature.

That right there would have caused thousands of dollars in damage to a legacy 1/2-ton truck, requiring dent repair and repainting to match. The property owner should be thanking you.”

A second Cybertruck owner, Dev from Nebraska, writes…

“I knew the Cybertruck was magnetic, but to attract a tree is something else.

Any other vehicle would have a dent for sure.”

A third Cybertruck owner writes…

“I love driving through the forest brush at normal speeds, bushwhacking a path. My other trucks have a ton of pinstriping, whereas my Cybertruck barely shows any in the bright sunlight.”

A fourth Cybertruck owner writes…

Legacy pickups can also end up with dented

“Legacy pickups can also end up with dented A-pillars after hitting alder saplings and small branches—impacts that leave the super-hard stainless steel untouched.

The Cybertruck’s wedge shape is designed to push through overgrown branches and brush, parting them as if the hand of God were on your side.”

Overall, many Cybertruck owners say their trucks are significantly more durable than legacy trucks. However, please let me know what you think in the comments.
