The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has officially opened its new sports club.
The official ribbon cutting for the sports club was held on Monday, Oct. 26, with club leadership and members on hand to help celebrate.
The new 84,000-square-foot facility brings together innovative fitness technology and restorative wellness to create an experience that is unlike anything else in Northeast Florida.
Health and wellness has become such a vital
“Health and wellness has become such a vital part of today’s resort world,” said Michael Gordon, general manager of the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.
A lot of time and planning went into making this new space a reality, and its opening marks the first major milestone in a broader transformation. Next up is the highly anticipated Surf Club, scheduled to open in spring 2027 with two pools, new dining venues and oceanfront event spaces.
The addition of the sports club offers members a setting to pursue a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. From personalized training and invigorating group classes to dedicated spaces for relaxation and recovery.

Some of the group classes include Pilates, Spin, yoga, HIIT and sports performance training. With golf being one of the primary focuses of the club, the new workout space features a dedicated golf training area. The sports club also offers one of the broadest collections of Technogym strength and cardio equipment in the United States. This technology is designed to move with the body and help reduce the risk of injury while making every workout more effective. There is also a heated, six-lane rooftop lap pool that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
With recovery also playing a vital role in the fitness journey, the sports club features a steam room, sauna, cold plunge and dedicated recovery suites. The Reef, the sports club’s nursery for children 6 months to 10 years old, is another feature that gives parents a place for their children to be while they are getting a workout in.
“Fitness today is about the whole experience: movement, nourishment and recovery,” said Gordon. “We want every member and guest to feel welcome and energized by the possibilities, whatever their fitness level or goals.”
