Shane Gillis has quickly become one of the most popular comedians in the United States, and on Friday night he put on a historic show in his home state of Pennsylvania.
Performing at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, Gillis filled the stadium with appearances by Dave Chappelle, Meek Mill, Jason Kelce, Cooper DeJean and Jordan Mailata.
After the show, it was announced that Gillis had set two Guinness World Records.
He attracted the largest audience ever for a comedian with 73,946 attendees and also set the record for the most tickets sold for a single comedy show with an astonishing 77,047 tickets sold.

Gillis’ comedy style is definitely not for everyone, and he has his fair share of critics. However, Friday night’s record-breaking show also highlighted just how big and passionate their fan base has become.
